Attraction and relationships: attraction, 4 factors lead to attraction. Proximity - physical distance but also possibility from interaction. Similarity homogamy, when people are similar to us, same religion, same area, same age. Physical proximity and shared routines: what leads to attraction, familiarity and liking. Love at first sight not a myth, it happens. Physical attractiveness sees am attractive person and sees it at love at first sight when it really isn"t: chemistry, similarity and why it works, cognitive consistency, reinforcement, development and stability of relationships, kinds of love. Trust over time leads to an identity as a couple: equity the relationship must be perceived as equal/balanced in order for relationships to last. Treats relationship like a business: unhappiness comes from imbalanced relationships, when people perceive inequity, they can, change their inputs, change their outcomes, distort perceptions of self, distort perception of others, choose a different referent, leave the field.
