Heterosexual moms and gay parents were concerned if their son was exhibiting feminine/gay traits, but not because of failure, but because they feared son rejection/bullying. The parents had different motives of promoting gender roles: the pink and blue project. Exhibits how arbitrary the colors are associated with certain genders.
