Alexander hamilton wanted america to have a national bank. Congress wins if there is a legal conflict between a state & congress. Original - most couldn"t vote, kept ordinary people from having a say. One person who has to be re-elected every 4 years. Getting rid of the president - impeachment process. State of the union address: treason, bribery, high crimes & misdemeanors. Does not have the power of purse (congress) or sword (executive) . Must be brought before a judge in 48 hours within the arrest - habeas corpus. Adams (president) appoints a lot of people as he is going out of office.
