Enhanced milieu teaching: kaiser (1993) introduced a hybrid model of parent-implemented language intervention, comprised of: A variety of strategies that set up opportunities for the child to talk. If incorrect, establish joint attention and present model again: mand-model: verbal prompt in form of questions, choice or mand to verbalize. Time delay can be an important bridging strategy for children that rely on prompts to move towards more independent and spontaneous use of language: incidental teaching: encourage children to elaborate language in conversational interaction.
