Double purchase system: 2 loops above and under the arbor. Use 2x heavier arbor, but only need to move it half the distance. Pipe weight: how much is need to balance when the system is empty. Tension block (floor block): keeps rope stiff in case it wears. Head block: where all the wired ropes turn down to go to the arbor. Loft blocks: wired ropes go up through this and towards the headblock. Motorized: controlled by motor, turn on and off.
