Grammar Rule 5

●Possessive Noun: a noun that modifies another noun

-Usually to indicate ownership

-Examples:

i) Boss’s Car

ii) Deer’s Antlers

iii) Diane’s Book

-In all of the examples one noun is giving information about the

other noun

i) like in the first example we learn that the car is property of the boss

●Is the noun singular?

-Then it can possess multiple objects

●Is the noun plural?

-Then it can possess single object

Grammar Rule 6

●Subject-Verb Pairing

-Must use a plural verb with a plural subject

-Examples:
