Taking away creativity and agency didn"t want them to innovate because this is apparently the best method. Taking advantage of this resource as much as possible. They were almost as equal as the factory workers because they were regulated and directed by their bosses. They became the bad guy in the view of the workers because they were restricting their free will. Alienated from the products they produce: doing one of the thousand parts of a product, division of labor is so high losing identification with their work. Alienated from themselves: makes them feel smaller, can"t see the worth of their work, have little pride in what they did. Alienated from others: makes them individuals instead of groups, there was no opportunity to be social or have any interaction.
