Inappropriate types of behavior or feelings under normal circumstances. General persuasive mood of unhappiness or depression. Behavioral responses differ from age, cultural norms which affect educational performance. Consistently seen in 2 different settings, one is school related. Includes schizophrenic disorder, affective disorder, anxiety disorder. Ebd can be divided into 2 groups. Externalizing behaviors- aggression, disruption, hyperactivity, and other forms of acting out. Internalizing behaviors- depression, anxiety, and social withdrawal.
