Biological race doesn"t exist, not a useful concept to make biological variations. Culturally constructed; race has direct biological consequences. Black person may be 2. 5 times more likely to be killed by police than white. Acute and chronic stress from discrimination structures mortality rate. If something were socially obstructed, then that idea/object is subject to change. Back in early colonization, there was no drainage system, likely egalitarian. Land use rights: access to food and work. Investors needed land to get wealthy therefore coerced and forced natives to trade w/ alcohol deprivation, guns. Back then, oppression was not racial, africans and europeans married. The unity of poor africans and europeans alarmed the elite therefore had to devise a way to split and divide the poor. Could have situations could have distributed wealth to the poor. If people recognized the drainage, it would mean that white people were admitting to their faults.
