Vignette perfectly relates to the chapter 8 because the case talks about how the school district used the perspective analytics model to find best solutions to who they should award their contracts of bus route. Excel spread sheets were used to better make the decision. It is helpful to have the descriptive analytics. I find it interesting that descriptive analytics is used such as history of the bus routes to make the best decision for awarding the bus route. Having the history, the information can be used to predict to make better decisions. I also find it interesting that perspective analytics models work for any situation that might have more than one answer available.
