Secondary aging - specific illnesses that are more common with age but are caused by health habits and genes that vary from person to person. Vision and hearing deline in late adulthood: Lower visual acuity; poor adaption to dark decreased color and depth perception. Reduced taste and odor sensitivity after 60. A sharp decline in sense of touch in late adulthood (~ age 70)
