Islam is a religion of peace that sets boundaries, rules, and regulations for its followers to lead a happier and healthier life, all while worshipping the one and only. The set of prescribed rules of islam is not to make people have a more constricted life, but so people can avoid being invested in worldly pleasures and focus more on bettering themselves for a more prosperous hereafter. Following the regulations, muslims are expected to be the utmost best models for people to emulate and seek guidance, honesty, and care from. Muslims are not perfect, and thus islam should not be confused with the flaws of extremists and ill-practicing muslims. Cleveland and bunton speak more about the worldwide expansion of islam instead of focusing on the details of the religion.
