There are consequences of attempting to force the body beyond its limits. Relationship between body and mind/what is natural. Mind and body are two distinct entities. Composed of two related but seperate entities. The realm of experience is, by its nature, imperfect. The realm of forms is, by its nature, perfect. Material reality was always changing (the actual object) also our perception that was confusing (allegory of the cave) Mind (psyche) & body (soma) and our soul housed our true divine nature. Body is a temporary prison for the soul and only death can release liberation. A method that measures what counts as knowledge. Extended substance (physical) vs. thinking substance (mind) The senses are deceptive and must be doubted. Only reason is reliable source of knowledge the thinking mind was the only certain thing. I think, therefore i am (cogito ergo sum) Control our bodies if we want our minds to work well .
