If you start giving estrogen and progesterone they regain interest. Humans: inah 1-4 (4 different nuclei) interstital nuclei of the anterior hypothalamus. Inah 3 is equivalent to sdn: has the most reliable sex difference, size of inah3 is larger in males than females and homosexual males, no difference in number of neurons between males and females. Internal genitalia none because neither duct system is supported. Menopause: start taking estrogen and progesterone at 65 years or older to help behavior & dementia, need to start taking hormones at the beginning of menopause, rats estrogen helps behavioral performance.
