Fixing alarm duration: previously we developed an fsm for a keyless car entry system, from here you can implement its logic. When ld=1, counter"s state is loaded with initial value t, e. g. , t=111 for a 3-bit counter. When ld=0, counter does counting: once counter reaches the end of its counting sequence, it produces time-out output z=1. In all other states this output is 0: first, we need to replace alarm state with the counter states, say, a n-bit counter with states alarm1, alarm2, , alarmn. Instead of transitioning to alarm state, our new fsm will transition to alarm1 state.
