Some may care for the animals" needs, but others are much more quesionable . Large-scale commercial breeding operaion where proit is the priority over the ell-being of the dogs: well-being may be considered in other breeding operaions. Consumers never see where their puppies are born. Pet stores try to avoid puppy mill sigma. Consumers never meet the breeders or see condiions. Petland, furry babies, and happiness is pets (among others) have had their puppies linked back to puppy mills: major consumer fraud issues. Purebred puppies iniially promoted by the usda as a cash crop for farmers ater world war ii. Kennels are licensed and inspected by the usda. Where are puppy mills located: mainly located in the midwest. Spend early part of lives in puppy mill and pet store.
