Everyone is wired, and connected to the internet in some kind of way. Feedback is everything; which means we are a lot more powerful than we every thought we were. Plagiarism: taking someones expression of an idea. You cant copy right an idea, but you can copy right an expression of an idea. Libel: producing a message that damages someone else reputation. Its harder to libel a famous person it"s harder to prove it. Carol burnett show, she lost because they said it was satire (her famous cleaning lady character popped up in family guy) Theory: a set of organized statements about a phenomenon . Artistotle"s action model: well crafted message + credible source = desired effect. Persuasion, is the most important form of communication, it gets people to move. Not using force to change minds but using communications. Persuasion: the power to move people ; using messages to change attitude or behavior.
