Census is most accurate; still there are overcounts and undercounts. Use of data may involve removal of identifying information on individuals. Use of data requires institutional review boards or data protection committees. A lot of cures were found on accident! Bacteria- tuberculosis, cholera, typhoid, tetanus, diphtheria, dysentery, syphilis, Viruses- smallpox, poliomyelitis, hepatitis, measles, rabies, aids, yellow fever, Parasites- malaria, cryptosporidiosis, giardiasis, roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms, pinworms.
