Water particles at surface and beneath wave move in circular orbit. Related to beach drift and longshore currents: depositional coastal processes, wave refraction. Created by tidal currents that flow thru inlets. Ebb delta: l tide: e coastal process. Headlands erode back while bays and coves build out. Test 4 page 1: emergent coastlines, submergent coastliens, factors bech erosion, corals. Wave cut terraces can be elevated above sea level to become sea cut platforms. Form due to land subsidence or sea level rise. Can result in drowned river valleys (estuaries) Configurations of coastlines and near shore areas. Warm marine water btwn 30n and 30s. 1/3 human generated co2 ends up in oceans. Secretes ca carbonate to form hard exoskeleton: increasing ocean acidity, wetland.
