In scz, the person believes the perception are real and they occur regularly. But can involve all senses (gustory= tasting something when not eating; tactile= having skin sensations when not being touched) Loose association: switching rapidly from one topic to another. Tangentiality: answers to questions may be only somewhat or completely unrelated. Incoherent (word salad): so severely disorganized that nearly incomprehensible.
