Test is broken into headings of the readings by the authors. 2 things he says he is not : rhetoric - persuade using clever speech (paid, sophist - use logic and philosophy to win an argument (paid) (not concerned with the truth) Oracle says socrates is the smartest and wisest in athens: tests the claim, conclusion : oracle was right because he admits that he knows he does not know, which makes him wise. Argued that people who are bad will be harmed and since no one wants to be harmed then it is not intentional. Examples: women managing the home, men partaking in political affairs. Is it taught, natural, and/or practiced: not the definition but a form, material components do not define the thing. Justice is a virtue, not a form of a virtue.
