Through afterimage effect, viewers" eyes will tire of black, green, and orange, and instead see red, white, and blue on the blank flag below. When stimulation in one sense causes experience in a different sense. Used by visual artists to share the experience of sounds or smells through the visual elements. Took a photo of ripples in the water that gave her the impression she could hear the sound of a cello. Different movements in water would evoke different sounds in her mind.
