Terrestrial radio-broadcast radio station-have to actually have a radio. More revenue than streaming services and online radio. Typical radio stations can be streamed online too. News talk, sports, country, christian, spanish language/music, pop and rock. According to whether or not they will make money: music is there to blend it all together, less important to advertisers, more important to sell the information there-music blends with the products we are trying to sell. Through research, stations can figure out what genres they want to listen to. To get people in, play music they want to hear: advertisements keep the stations running, advertise what goes with the music. Ex: country music + seed and farm equipment. Usually in-house production-written inside and then their announcers perform it. Can do a lot with radio: special effects, sounds and voices. Hit people with same message in a lot of different ways.
