Grappling with history: genocide in argentina: state government tortured, murdered, raped and kidnapped 30,000 people, dirty war- military dictatorship between 1974-1983. Government called it the process of national reorganization. Death squads hunted down people who opposed the government: mother and grandmothers of the plaza de mayo.
