Household stage in life influences on housing patterns. As a person goes through their life cycle, they have distinct characteristics. When they have children, when they move out, when health issues happen, family matters, and more, there is a distinct effect in the housing needs and such during these stages in life. Racial factors, and more, can determine housing size and such too. More earning power as one grows older can lead to better housing as a part of the stage in life. Finding out what can be a desired place to live for people is a hot topic. Since everyone has their idea of living their dream home, it is very subjective. Early models show a linear stage in life progression. Starting from singles forming a home to death! Of course, this is subjective, since some people can have no kids, can stay single forever, can never retire, and then some.
