Name the four main nerve plexuses formed by ventral rami and the body regions innervated by each. Identify the major nerves arising from each plexus: define dermatomes and explain hilton"s law of the innervation of joints. 427-429, 432-446, 459-460: complete all chapter 14 problems. Innervates muscles of chewing/grinding jaw: looks like tree trunk sticking out of pons, mixed nerve, sensory function = facial sensation, motor function = moving, grinding jaw, abducens nerve vi, motor nerve.
