How to present in a class: whole team, little interaction with audience. How to present in the real world: one or two people, presentations are a half hour to 45 minutes because of interaction. Purpose: engage the audience, don"t let the presentation powerpoint (av) dominate attention, don"t just use text on slides. 3 lines plus graphics: put the basics on the slides, talk about the rest, there are few topics that need to be talked about longer than 15 minutes. Typography and contrast: very easy to get lost in design, don"t make it hard to read.
