Quality of life is now given more attention in the management of chronic illness. It has components such as physical functioning, psychological status, social functioning, and disease. Documentation of how illness affects the activities of daily living, it can measure which problems are about to emerge, measures the impact of treatment, can be used to compare therapies, etc.
