Ex: border politics, ntl security, wire-tapping, labor relations, demotion of civil liberties: feminists want to know how they"re intertwined, globalization can be militarized. Ex: militar alliances, oil companies in nigeria, ntl security, military privilege: militarization can be globalized. Ex: us is biggest trader of arms sales, coordinator of large scale military operations. Global politics too narrowly defined; we need to broaden scope of what counts as ir/gp. Also need to talk about wives, secretaries, daughters; women hosted diplomatic parties and that"s where a lot of negations and treaties happened. Women account for most casualties of war; refugee camps have mostly women.
