The government that governs best if the government that governs least. We should have a circle instead of the spectrum. Authoritarian- the group should make the decisions for the best for everyone. Libertarian- the private sphere should be larger; i should be able to make decisions for myself. Liberalism- constitutional republic, mixed economy, secular government on top of an extremely religious culture. Trying to avoid permanent party faction- one party should not be winning every vote. The same people or group get voted for over and over again. How little you want the government involved depends on where you are on the political spectrum. What american came out of from england. Felt that my reducing gov"t this was the only way they could provide human freedom and liberty. Outward looking: territorial integrity- we don"t go around interfering with one another.
