HIST205 Lecture Notes - Lecture 5: Cash Crop, Spanish Armada, Silk Road
Document Summary
Exams will take place in our regular classroom, at the regular class time, on the dates indicated on your syllabus. You do not need to bring a blue book you will write your answers on the paper provided to you. You will have the full class period to complete the exam. Use terms and concepts to organize bigger ideas. You are not competing with anyone in class to do well on exams. You will choose six questions out of eight, and then you will compose short answers with several good sentences. Each question will be about a term or concept, or a historical event, or it might ask you to make connections about historical processes covered in lectures and readings. Writing down a lot of random information will not earn you a good grade. Instead, you should be precise, direct, and thorough answer the question that you chose to answer, not some other question.
