Transmission predominantly in more populated areas and even more developed areas. Higher rate in children; adults can get it as well. Feel unwell, fatigued, terrible cough, etc. but in between episodes, you seem fine; no evidence of the disease at all. Steroids suppress immune system; makes infection worse; but helps airways in an asthmatic or anaphylactic condition (they decrease inflammation dramatically) Turning blue; red blood cells are filled with carbon dioxide and not oxygen. Mucous build up from lying on her back (gravity) Kills an average of 4 babies in the uk each year; highest rate of fatality is in infants (not yet vaccinated) There are 3 types: bubonic, pneumonic, and septicemic. Bubonic (the black death)- lymphatic, by flea bite. Septicemic- blood by flea or respiratory droplets (i. e. , step on glass localized infection. Could potentially get caught into blood stream and carried throughout body, infecting other organs of the body.
