Takes some of the meaning out of life: faith in the age of science. Hard to keep faith when there are scientific explanations. God referenced in money, bible used to swear in president, etc. Churches have substantial statuses, such as tax exemption. Megachurches have services, both religions and non-religious (i. e. daycare) in order to draw in more people. Strong religious overtones, rules of the debate.
