o Benefit corporation: high standards for purpose, accountability, and
transparency
▪ Benefit Corporation is a for-profit corporation, but in addition to creating
value for its shareholders, it has three additional legal attributes: 1)
accountability, 2) transparency, and 3) purpose
o B-corp: voluntary meeting, better transparency, accountability, and performance
