(intention to obliterate an entire people) Spanish jews had been living peacefully among muslims- most moved to oe when expelled (bc it had a more tolerant minority policy) Gave of the budget to himself and spent v little on his three ships and 90 man crew. Named first land catholic sovereigns - took possession of the land right off the boat.
