Same place as all the sins we found in hell. In purgatory, the sinners are repenting for their sins and are trying to work their way out of them. Same order as in hell, but in reverse because now we are going up. The souls in purgatory will ultimately go to heaven. Sinners cannot advance during the night (go up that is) Love - in inferno 1. 39 (love created the universe) In center of commedia (love pervades the universe) Last line of paradiso (love moves the universe) Natural: not chosen, therefore you cannot praise nor blame them. Rational: freedom of choice, and therefore can be praised or blamed for how you love. 17: 91-93, the center of the whole divine comedy. You have merit based on your judgment about love. Even if you get this impulse to be attracted to something, your mind can still make a judgment about whether to go for it or not.
