Small viz is what we care about more! Don"t think too much about big data and big viz! 2 use cases: rough visual query and interaction, fine visual report and presentation. They may not be fatal, but what they see, they care about! Timing matters in your use of tech and career! Why you should not use these tools is b/c it"s not the right time. The real need is not there, at least outside the labs and big data rich folks. Client-side renders suffer from trying to send too much data. That"s not going to help solve our problems! Instead, we should come up with scenarios that may describe our problems! Pushed a new version: come up with scenarios, try to create some data about them, and also draft visualizations that make sense! D3, many wrapped d3, chart. js, echarts, etc. Eventually arrive in bi ( biz intelligence ) land - tableau, domo, etc.
