(they law down wire for every single building) Ixcs also hold power - say if you wanted to hook up to la or manhattan or etc. When a call goes from 1 phone company to another: Money is (cid:3247)split up(cid:3248) among phone systems settlement. Provider tells all neighbors how to reach customer. Customer does not want to provide transit service. Customer has ads that they"re sending to their provider. They can"t reach anywhere else unless it goes through the provider!
