Document Summary
Vitamins are organic compounds that contain c-h bonds essential in diet to promote growth and maintain health. When you lack them in diet deficiency symptoms occur. If restored in diet, deficiency symptoms resolve (is most reversible) Vitamins are grouped by the solubility in water. Water soluble vitamins include b vitamins and vitamin c.
