External genitalia, referred to as vulva: mons pubis. Adipose tissue covered with hair: labia majora. Triangular shaped area between vaginal opening and anus: pelvic floor. Muscles forming a suspended sling that supports pelvic contents. Attaches to various points on bony pelvis and form functional sphincters for vagina, rectum, and urethra.
