Newspapers and civil posters distributed to schools and churches. Natural willingness to fight against the germans. Race in the us: committed to white supremacy, hard to get black soldiers because they were against them killing white people. White supremacists might feel like they could do it themselves. Might be seen as equal after the war. Black soldiers might turn on white supremacists.
