Physically sophistication the baby is born with primes the baby to socially interact with caretakers survival of the baby. Caretakers have endoprhins release when this interact occurs- makes caretaker feel good-enhances the bonding. Human are born with two primary emotions 1)anxiety 2)joy. All other emotions dervice from the foundation of anxiety and joy that is why they are primary they are origin. Emotions are key to communication between child and caretakers. Delicticle- tensions between forces of nature- tension between anxiety and joy to feel joy anxiety has to be low and managable. Infant attachment is the first working model of social models of social relationsips carry onto the future. A social bond between the infant and caregiver- positive affection bond. Stranger anxiety differencing between attachment figures and strangers. Seperation distress-babies get distressed when you leave them- first time you leave you 1 year old at day care.
