Since 1750 66% of anthropogenic co2 emissions have come from burning of fossil fuels, the remainder is from land use change. All of the energy that gets to the earth has to get in and out of it is from electromagnetic radiation. Short waves come in, long waves go back out into space. Wouldn"t be a habitable planet without warm air that radiates the waves because. Energy comes in from sun, goes back out to space, but some gets caught by the atmosphere and warms the earth. 99% of the air is n2 and o2 only 1% is co2 the energy goes back out.
