What is meant when we say that anthropology is: Holistic: it studies people from every possible angle. Cross cultural: it considers every way of life in every place on earth. From the video "the myth of human nature" People are competitive by nature, individualistic, and selfish. The reality of our human nature is that humans need companionship, close contact. Humans need to be loved, attached, and accepted. If these needs are met we develop into people who are compassionate, cooperative, and empathetic.
