Going back to the phaedo, cebes and simmias are still very confused to socrates argument. He says that the soul is to the body as the harmony is in a lyre. Physical items to it somehow existential idea/being within (immaterial being. The comparison is between the soul"d relation to the body and the harmony of a lyre. Attunement" may be a better word than harmony" for the physical state of the lyre. Because its physical changes affect the sound that comes off in a lyre. Imagine that the sounds in each string can be changed due to the physical loosening or tightening of the string to change the sound after. Strings have length and weight, but also tension. Soul might just be a an attunement to the physical body. The soul is capable of doing life at the biological level. Maybe the soul is life creating the parts of the body.
