Rise of fascism and authoritarian regimes in 1920s and 30s in europe. Rise of nationalism/fascism : nationalism based on hatred infused with militarism and not to mention a sort of concept of race that is pseudo scientifically founded in. Loyalists vs nationalist (or republicans vs fascists) Violence will break out in madrid in 1934 where spanish style soviets are set up. Government will call in franco to suppress the workers movement. At this point country descends to a civil war. Volunteers from the west (hemingway, lincoln berget) Soviets will send in secret police members and money and supports.
