Immigration changes > increasing integration and also shared by boundaries/differences in countries. Securing of borders around the world > physically [wall] and anti-globalization attitudes. Sharp increase in border walls since 1945, spike since 2001. Tensions between forces of opening and integration and closing borders and keeping people out.
