The doctor tells cordelia that king lear needs shelter, clothes, respect. Woyzeck - doctor does not care as much. Does not care about his well-being, he cares about the results of the experiment. King lear says my brains are injured . When he is comfortable, and returning to reality, he believes it"s a hallucination when he sees cordelia. Lear tells cordelia that he does not believe that she has every reason and cause to not treat him well. She is not brutally honest in this part of the play. Hung by a cord, breaks lear"s heart. Their personalities are connected to king lear. Theory of national selection was not available during buchner"s time. All plants were made of cells 1838. Theodor schwann argued that all animals were made of cells 1839.
