This novel is worth reading because it"s a novel about a reassuring affirmation of life after experiencing disappointment. Memory helps us understand that disappointment has meaning. The word lonely has a double resonance. Sense of freedom and peace, entering a state of consciousness above. Impossible to not feel a sense of joy. Didn"t realize that the experience was extraordinary. All of a sudden there is a flash bliss . Something of memory flashes, heart of pleasure fills and dances. Later on when you"re dealing with life. This poem underscores the role of memory that plays in consolation.
