Communication is how people relay information about their own ideas, feelings, and intentions they have. As people, we communicate through spoken and written words - Language, through voice qualities, physical closeness, gestures and posture. All are forms of communication and show an interactional element at hand. Symbols are arbitrary forms used in referring to ideas, feelings, intentions, or any other objects. Symbols tend to represent our experiences in ways others can perceive through - sounds, gestures, pictures, even fragrances. This comes in the form of language and verbal communication. Spoken language is a socially acquired system of sound patterns that have meanings attached to them and agreed on by the members of a group or community.
